Biodance Gas-Station Pop-Up
Los Angeles, USA | One weekend only
Concept
K-Beauty brand Biodance temporarily converted a vintage Los Angeles gas station into a “Serenity & Glow Station.” The idea: prove that healthy, luminous skin can be achieved anywhere—even while you refuel.
Key Zones & Touch-Points
Pump-to-Glow Bar
• Former fuel pumps now dispense chilled Biodance ampoules instead of gasoline.
• Staff scan your skin’s hydration level; the pump then “prescribes” the matching serum shot.
Zen Car-Wash Tunnel
• A short, mist-filled passage lined with LED panels that shift from city neon to soft dawn colors.
• Ultrasonic humidifiers infuse the air with the brand’s signature Balancing Complex, giving an instant dewy finish.
Chill Pit-Stop Lounge
• Repurposed garage bays become cushioned alcoves where guests can apply a single-use Bio-Cellulose mask and recline on beanbags made from recycled tire rubber.
Photo Lane
• A retro, oil-streaked floor is overlaid with a holographic “oil-slick-to-glow” effect. Snap a pic; the hologram animates your reflection from dull to radiant in three seconds.
Give-aways & Up-sell
• First 300 visitors each day receive a “Fuel-Cap” kit: mini cleanser, ampoule and mask packed in a scaled-down gas-tin.
• On-site vending machine sells the limited “Pump & Glow” bundle (full-size cleanser + mask) exclusive to the pop-up.
Sustainability Angle
Every structure is modular and reusable; signage printed on recycled aluminum plates; all sample tubes are sugar-cane bioplastic.
Take-away
Biodance turned the most utilitarian of urban spaces into a moment of calm, proving that balance and glow can coexist—even at a gas station.
