On April 24, 2025, ZARA will unveil its "Fanglu Lin × ZARA" limited-time pop-up space in Beijing。This pop-up space is a showcase for the new capsule collection created in collaboration with Chinese artist Fanglu Lin, titled "She and the Craft: Fanglu Lin × ZARA"。The collection merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, transforming the language of fiber art into a new form of expression。
The pop-up will be located at the Temple DONGJINGYUAN in Beijing, a historical site with a rich cultural heritage。The event will feature an immersive experience that blends art and fashion, with highlights including:
A fusion of art and fashion: Fanglu Lin's pioneering fiber art practice crosses into the realm of fashion for the first time, collaborating with ZARA to launch a capsule collection that includes women's, men's, and children's clothing, as well as home products。
Modern interpretation of traditional crafts: The series showcases many iconic craft languages, such as embroidery, knotting, pleating, gathering, and dyeing techniques。
Unique spatial experience: The pop-up space, set against the backdrop of a six-century-old Beijing Temple DONGJINGYUAN, creates a dialogue across time between the rough brick walls and the delicate tie-dye textures and knotting techniques in Lin Fanglu's works。
